‘For me Paris is the epitome of the fashion experience. There’s so much fashion heritage and tradition in Paris. I think shows like Louis Vuitton bring such a rich history to their show but it doesn’t feel nostalgic or dated. It’s always really modernised and innovated and tailored to a younger audience which I love. Plus without over romanticizing Paris, but let’s be honest Paris is a romantic place, I think it reaches me on sentimental level too.’

‘Enjoying a meal is a rarity in the event of prepping for a major show so loading up with some fresh fruits and pastries while I ready myself is the only way to afford myself a few minutes of sustenance – which, when you think about, is pretty special.’

‘I use the same fragrances during fashion week so despite the hectic schedule and the need to always be “on” I find Rose Des Vents to be quite cathartic. I have multiple scents by Louis Vuitton, they’re powdery and multifaceted – even reminiscent of the brand’s work with leather – and depending on the event Apogée and Matiére Noire are mainstays in my purse.’

‘My very first Louis Vuitton show was in 2016. It was the cruise show in Palm Springs. And I’ve done every show since with them in Paris.’

‘Louis Vuitton is the one brand that I will buy something from every season. These sneakers are my own and they are so comfortable. Everyone thinks they aren’t going to be because the arch is so high but I’ve been walking everywhere in them all fashion month.’

‘No matter what the season, Nicolas Ghesquière seems to be able to carry through the monogram. It never feels dated. I chose this bag because I really like the size of it. Today I’m carrying an extra camera battery, my phone, lip balm and my hotel room key. They’re my essentials.’

‘I like the way this striped top off-sets the heavy brocades. It’s probably the most “athleisure” look I’ve worn but I do love it.’

‘Louis Vuitton were the first house to show at the Louvre and the fact, this is their third season, really sets the tone of Nicolas’s influences. It preempts each collection. There is a disparity between the rich history plus the forward thinking and futuristic elements of each collection. Nicolas really uses the soundtrack to complement the collection. It’s his way of introducing each season. Before each show there’s always a deep drum beat. And it unsettles you. You know you’re in for a treat. The casting is beautiful too. The models are gorgeous but they’re heroines too. They’re fearless.’

‘There were a lot more silks and lighter fabrics in this collection. I loved the more voluminous looks that tapered down.’

‘The accessories are always the first thing I notice. The shoes as usual are very different to the previous collection. I think these are going to be really wearable.’

‘I’ve never seen Nicolas do a bustier before. I love the way they were styled over soft or embellished dresses to harden up the looks.’

‘He played a lot with fabrics. He does amazing things with movement. Even though his references are a strong and fearless woman, there is a still a softness to her.’
